This extraordinarily effective holistic healing therapy which has only been in Ireland for the past six years has a 30 year history in Russia, when both orthodox and complementary practitioners use it in their clinics, dental practices, ambulances, sports centres, physiotherapy departments and beauty therapy centres to name but a few.

 The Irish College of Scenar is the training college for the Scenar Practitioners Society of Ireland, which is affiliated to FICTA (Federation of Irish Complementary Therapists Associations) and to ISTA    (International Scenar Technology Association). See www.scenartech.com

The Irish College of Scenar modular system has been developed and expanded from the original from 2000 which is contained in the constitution with code of ethics and standards of the Scenar Practitioner Society of Ireland.

This Irish College of Scenar course comprises of eight modules (of either two or three days unless otherwise stated), with both practical and theoretical homework to be completed and assessed prior to acceptance to the next module. Modules are arranged at about two- monthly intervals but dates may have to be varied depending on the varied abilities of students and on some other factors.

Entry requirements:

Over 21 years of age.

Have an educational standard approximate to a pass leaving certificate.

Have no criminal record and be able to pass the character reference procedure. 

Be of a caring nature and have the desire to help ease pain and encourage better health.

Expect to be earning an income as a scenar therapist about 2 years after starting the course. 

Fee per Foundation course and for each of the 8 modules:                €650.00

Equipment required:

Scenar device required before Module 1 (can be ordered on course)        aprox. €2500.00                                                                                            

Student annual membership of Scenar Practitioners Society of Ireland €150.00

(includes automatic  membership of FICTA and ISTA)

Required at a later date before completion of course: 

Scenar external electrodes (2 varied)                                                        

Rista or equivalent Nakatani diagnostic computer.

HEALING BLANKET (TMB)

Rista (Nakatani diagnostic device)

The Rista device is a diagnostic tool that makes it possible for a scenar practitioner to increase the effectiveness of scenar therapy. The Rista diagnostic gives the scenar practitioner the optimum area of influence through measurement of specific points on (the oriental medicine) meridians. This can help speed up the course of treatment.

Rista devices vary in price from aprox. €700.00 to €3000.00  

ICS Foundation course Syllabus

1.     Overview of full professional course as per S.P.S.I. code of standards.

2.     Introduction to SCENAR theory and hands- on practical.

3.     Introduction to subjective mode.

4.     Introduction to objective mode.

5.     Practice of 3 paths subjective mode and objective mode.

6.     Practice of Higher technique in Basic theory of SCENAR vertical and horizontal, diagnosing opposites-yin/yang.

7.     Basic theory of ki/ electro – magnetic life-energy/chi…..balance.

8.     Safety, ethics, bedside manner.

 9 Discuss A + P and basic pathology.

Explain the Scientific Basis of Scenar Technology - this is not another "gadget" but a device based on a scientific, 

medically based new understanding of the body - functional medicine, energy medicine.

Cycle of Disease - where the patient is in the cycle will to some extent determine whether the process is a quick

 recovery or a longer process, which might involve worsening of the condition prior to improvement.

Explain 'stuck' process in the body, whereby the body suppresses the pathology and moves on and process never

fully completed.

Explain what the Scenar does and how / why it works - how the impulse gets under body defense system, 

is recognised by body, stimulates nervous system etc:  

*Major influences of neuropeptides.

*Localisation of neuropeptides.

*Nerve structure of the skin.

*Classification of nerve fibers (A +C).

*Routes of communication of the nervous system.

*The nature of impulses.

*Cascade Effect.

What can be treated at this level of skill and, in future, after more training.
